About This Course

Introduction to Search Engine Optimization (FELLOW106) is required by all Fellows during their StartUp Training and typically takes about 2.5 hours to complete. In this course, you will be introduced to search marketing fundamentals including, what SEO is and how it differs from search marketing as well as tactics to support on and off-site SEO. You will complete one role playing exercise as well as a series of quizzes. Your evaluation will be based upon your acquired knowledge as well as your effectiveness at reading comprehension, time management, and problem solving.

Course Objectives

Fellows will understand 1. what SEO is and how it works 2. what SEM is and how it's used 3. strategies to support on-site and off-site SEO.

Requirements

Introduction to Digital Marketing (FELLOW105) is a prerequisite for this course.
