About This Course

Introduction to i-HELP and Google Workspace (NAV201) is required by all Academic Cohort Introduction to i-HELP and Google Workspace (NAV201) is required by all Community Navigators (both Summer and Academic Cohorts) during their StartUp Training and typically takes about 3 hours to complete. In this course, you will be introduced to the iHELP program delivered by the Peake Fellowship with funding from the Connecting Minority Communities Pilot Program, as well as program expectations. You will also learn how to use and navigate platforms for this program, including LearnerSpaces, Google Workspace, VenlySpaces, and Venly Local. You will complete a series of quizzes and 1 exercise, and your evaluation will be based upon your acquired knowledge as well as your effectiveness at reading comprehension, time management, and problem solving.

Course Objectives

Community Navigators will understand 1) What the i-HELP program is and the competencies they will gain from the program 2) Performance and remote expectations for the i-HELP program 3) How to use Google Workspace tools effectively 4) What VenlySpaces and Venly Local 5) How to create their Venly Local User Page.

Requirements

You will receive an enrollment invitation from the Peake Fellowship.
