About This Course

Introduction to Wikipedia (FELLOWa217) is required by all Fellows who will be delivering Wikipedia coaching or editing (as a free service) for an client and takes about 3.5 hours to complete. In this course, you will be introduced to Wikipedia policies and best practices. Furthermore, you'll receive training on how to create, edit, and submit pages for organizations.

Course Objectives

Fellows will understand 1. Wikipedia policies, 2. Wikipedia page creation, editing, and submission best practices and how-tos , 3. how to deploy Wikipedia as a service to the client.

Requirements

Defining the Client Service Plan (FELLOW115) is a prerequisite for this course.
