About This Course

Introduction to the Hiring Process and Job Applications (FELLOWa900) is required by all Fellows as part of meeting their Fellowship Journey requirements in their Impact Log for Career Outreach. This course provides foundations training on the hiring process, job applications, and transferable skills. It the first of 4 Post-Fellowship coaching courses. You will complete a series of quizzes and two exercises. Your evaluation will be based upon your acquired knowledge, as well as your effectiveness at reading comprehension, time management, and problem solving.

Course Objectives

Fellows will understand 1) what the hiring process is from the applicant and hiring employer point of view 2) what transferable skills are and how to identify ones they possess and their impact 3) fundamentals of job applications and how they work.

Requirements

Defining the Client Service Plan (FELLOW115) is a prerequisite for this course.
