About This Course
Networking, Recruiters, and Informational Interviews (FELLOWa901) is required by all Fellows as part of meeting their Fellowship Journey requirements in their Impact Log for Career Outreach. This course provides foundations training on professional networking, including informational interviews, preparing for networking events, and LinkedIn networking strategies. It the second of 4 Post-Fellowship coaching courses. You will complete a series of quizzes and two exercises. Your evaluation will be based upon your acquired knowledge, as well as your effectiveness at reading comprehension, time management, and problem solving.
Course Objectives
Fellows will understand 1) what networking is and strategies to network online and in-person 2) how to identify people within their existing network and people they'd like to meet 3) what is and how to hold an informational interview.Requirements
Introduction to the Hiring Process and Job Applications (FELLOWa900) is a prerequisite for this course.
